Tim Cable

Senior Partner

London

Tim joined the business in 2012 and has more than 21 years of relevant experience. Tim is the Head of the Global Infrastructure Debt business and the portfolio manager of a number of the firm’s debt mandates. He is the Chair of the Debt Investment Committee and a member of the firm’s global Executive Committee.

Prior to joining the firm, Tim worked in senior banking roles at Westpac in Sydney and London. He holds a Bachelor of Commerce and a Master of Business from the University of Otago and a Master of Business Administration from the London Business School.

Nick Cleary

Senior Partner

New York

Nick joined the business in 2012 and has more than 21 years of relevant experience. Nick leads the North American Infrastructure Debt business, including investments origination, execution and portfolio management. He is a member of the Debt Investment Committee and a member of the firm’s global Executive Committee.

Prior to joining the firm, Nick spent over six years at Westpac in the Energy Resources team and the Project and Infrastructure Finance teams. Prior to Westpac, Nick held a number of roles in the international energy industry based out of Houston and working across Asia, the Middle East and Latin and North America. He holds a Bachelor of Surveying degree from the University of Tasmania, and a Master of Business Administration from the Macquarie Graduate School of Management.

Cameron Price

Cameron joined the business in 2006 and has more than 21 years of relevant experience. Cameron is the Chief Operating Officer for the group, responsible for Corporate and Fund Finance, Client Reporting, Operations, Information Technology and Human Resources. He held a variety of finance and compliance roles within the firm across Australia, USA and the UK. Cameron is a member of the firm’s global Executive Committee.

Prior to joining the firm, Cameron held various roles in the Equities division of UBS in London. He holds a Bachelor of Commerce from the University of Melbourne and is a member of the Institute of Chartered Accountants in Australia.

Syed joined the business in 2022 and has 11 years of relevant experience. Syed focuses on the asset management of Debt investments.

Prior to joining the firm, Syed was a Vice President at Société Générale in the Project & Infrastructure Finance Portfolio Management team, and prior to that, he worked across a range of teams at NatWest. He holds a Bachelor of Science in Banking and International Finance from the Cass Business School.

Alex Balikhin

Alexander joined the business in 2014 and has 14 years of relevant experience. Alexander focuses on Equity transactions origination, execution and asset management. He is a director on the boards of companies relating to Ventus Investments.

Prior to joining the firm, Alexander was an Associate at Rothschild in the Transport and Infrastructure M&A team. He holds a Master’s in Science in Mathematics from Imperial College London.

Prior to joining the firm, Aishah worked as an accountant at Kirk Rice, covering general practice and tax. She holds a Bachelor of Science in Economics from the Queen Mary University of London and is ACA qualified with the Institute of Chartered Accountants of England and Wales (ICAEW).

Thanos Bikakis

Prior to joining the firm, Thanos worked as an Analyst across Infrastructure & Project Finance, Asset Management, Infrastructure, Energy & Industrial Relationship Management and the Asset Finance, Client Products teams at Lloyds. He holds a Master of Finance from the University of Cambridge and a Bachelor of Arts in Economics from the University of the West of England.

Katie Brown

Katie joined the business in 2021 and has 4 years of relevant experience. Katie focuses on the asset management of Debt investments.

Prior to joining the firm, Katie worked as an Analyst across Infrastructure & Project Finance, Syndicated Loan Transactions, Debt Capital Markets and Derivatives teams at NatWest. Katie holds a Bachelor of Science in Economics from the University of Warwick.

Alex Geach

Alex joined the business in 2018 and has 19 years of relevant experience. Alex is responsible for the Corporate Finance Function of the group, covering all aspects of financial management, including management accounting and reporting, budgeting, Treasury and Regulatory and Financial Reporting.

Prior to joining the firm, Alex was the Group Financial Controller at Armajaro Asset Management. He holds a Bachelor of Science in Economics from the University of Warwick and is ACA qualified with the Institute of Chartered Accountants in England and Wales (ICAEW).

Domenico Giovannone

Domenico joined the business in 2022 and has 6 years of relevant experience. Domenico focuses on the asset management of Debt investments.

Prior to joining the firm, Domenico worked as an Associate in the U.S. Utilities, Project Finance & Infrastructure team at Moody’s. He holds a Bachelor of Business Administration in Actuarial Mathematics and Finance from Bryant University.

Lynn Hankins

Lynn joined the business in 2007 as office manager in the UK. Lynn’s responsibilities include administration, facilities and supporting the management team. She also assists the compliance, HR and finance functions.

Prior to joining the firm, Lynn held various personal assistant and office manager positions in investment banks in London after leaving the Police Force.

Jinny Hwang

Jinny joined the business in 2011 and has 15 years of relevant experience. Jinny focuses on Global Fund Finance, Reporting, Operations and Middle Office functions.

Prior to joining the firm, Jinny worked in audit and business advisory services at Pitcher Partners. She holds a Bachelor of Commerce and a Bachelor of Information Systems from the University of Melbourne and is a member of the Institute of Chartered Accountants in Australia.

Karan Kapoor

Karan joined the business in 2018 and has 10 years of relevant experience. Karan focuses on Equity transactions and asset management. He was previously a director on the boards of companies relating to Phoenix Energy and New South Wales Land Registry Services.

Prior to joining the firm, Karan worked in the Power and Utilities team of KPMG’s Deal Advisory function, primarily covering clients in the renewable and flexible generation space. He previously worked as a credit and market risk analyst at Barclays. He holds a Bachelor of Science in Economics from the University of Warwick. He is a CFA charter holder and is ACA qualified with the Institute of Chartered Accountants of England and Wales (ICAEW).

She is part of Vantage Group’s ESG working group. She is a director on the boards of companies relating to South East Water and, previously, on the boards of companies relating to Agronergy and Phoenix Energy.

Prior to joining the firm, Anne-Noelle worked at Core Capital and Macquarie Capital. She holds a Master 1 in Finance from Paris Dauphine University and a Master of Science in Accounting and Finance from the London School of Economics.

Julian Malakorn

Julian joined the business in 2019 and has 10 years of relevant experience. Julian focuses on the origination and execution of Debt investments in North America.

Prior to joining the firm, Julian was an Associate at ING Group, covering infrastructure and energy finance. He holds a Bachelor of Arts in Business and Economics from Skidmore College.

Prior to joining the firm, Niccolo worked as an Analyst at Credit Suisse in the Leveraged Finance team. He holds a Bachelor of Science in Economics and Finance from Bocconi University and a Master of Science in Finance from ESADE Business School.

John Parker

John joined the business in 2013 and has 15 years of relevant experience. John focuses on the origination and execution of Debt investments. He has placed client capital into a broad range of infrastructure businesses, including airports, ports, utilities, PPPs, renewables and thermal energy, oil and gas and telecommunications. John is also a member of the Equity Investment Committee.

Prior to joining the firm, John worked in the Infrastructure and Project Finance team at National Australia Bank. He holds a Bachelor of Arts in Hispanic Studies and Business from Sheffield University.

Omar Rahman

Managing Director

London

Omar joined the business in 2018 and has 19 years of relevant experience. Omar leads the Equity business and focuses on transactions origination, execution and asset management. He is a director on the boards of companies relating to Ventus Investments and, previously, on the boards of companies relating to Phoenix Energy. He is Chair of the Equity Investment Committee.

Prior to joining the firm, Omar was an Executive Director at Morgan Stanley Infrastructure Partners, working on “core plus” European transactions and, previously, he worked in the Investment Banking Division at Morgan Stanley covering Benelux clients. He holds a Bachelor of Science in Economics from the London School of Economics and a Master of Science in Economics and Business from Erasmus University Rotterdam.

Steve Rankine

Steve joined the business in 2008 and has more than 30 years of relevant experience. Whilst moving away from full-time executive duties in 2018, Steve continues as a Senior Adviser to Vantage and acts as a member of both the Debt and Equity Investment Committees.

Steve is an accomplished investment professional with experience in global specialised funds management, infrastructure and large financial institutions. He is also a seasoned non-executive director of private infrastructure corporations in Australia, Europe and North America. He held various roles within the firm, including heading the European business, re-establishing the Infrastructure Debt business and heading the global Equity asset management function.

Prior to joining the firm, Steve spent 20 years at Westpac Banking Corporation. His last role was Managing Director and Head of Debt Capital Markets, responsible for all Institutional Debt products. Steve is a Fellow of the Institute of Chartered Accountants, a graduate of the Institute of Company Directors, a Fellow of the Financial Services Institute of Australasia and has an Economics degree from Sydney University.

Lisa Shaw

Managing Director

London

Lisa joined the business in 2013 and has more than 20 years of relevant experience. Based in London, Lisa is the firm’s ESG Champion and leads global asset management for the Debt business. She is responsible for all of the analytical processes, credit risk assessment and valuation policies of the debt team. Lisa is also a member of the Debt Investment Committee.

Prior to joining the firm, Lisa was Associate Director and Head of Portfolio Management, Infrastructure & Renewables, at NIBC Bank, where she ran a book of over 120 debt transactions across Europe. She also worked for IKB Deutsche Industriebank and for Abbey National (now Santander). She holds a Bachelor of Architecture (Honors) from the University of Manchester.

Nicola Staunton

Managing Director

London

Nicola is responsible for business development for the Vantage Infrastructure group. The Vantage Infrastructure group is an authorised distributor for Capital Four in the UK & Ireland and is part of the Capital Four group of companies.

Prior to joining Vantage in April 2024, Nicola worked for Wellington Management International for 18 years, where she was a Managing Director responsible for UK Sales & Relationship management. Prior to Wellington, she spent a total of 9 years at Bank of Ireland Asset Management, where latterly she was Head of Client Services based in London.

Nicola holds a First Class Honours degree in International Commerce from University College Dublin, has completed the Private Markets Investments Programme at Saïd Business School, University of Oxford and holds the CFA Private Markets and Alternative Investments Certificate.

Eddette Steynberg

Office Manager

Eddette joined the business in 2018 as office manager in the UK. Eddette’s responsibilities include marketing, event coordination, office administration, facility management, human resources and supporting the London team.

Prior to joining the firm, Eddette worked as marketing and operations coordinator at a private equity placement agent, responsible for the IT, operations and business development functions as well as managing the firm’s advertising and marketing campaigns. Eddette holds certificates in digital content strategy, online marketing and information technology and a degree in Human Genetics.

Oceane Suchail

Oceane joined the business in 2021 and has 7 years of relevant experience. Oceane focuses on Equity transactions and asset management.

Prior to joining the firm, Oceane was an Investment Associate at Cubico Sustainable Investment and prior to that she was a Financial Analyst in the Infrastructure and Renewables practice at DWPF. She holds a Master of Engineering in Civil Engineering and a Master of Science in Infrastructure Investment and Finance, both from University College London.

Philippe Taillardat

Senior Adviser

Philippe joined the business in 2020 and has more than 25 years of relevant experience. He acts as a Senior Adviser to Vantage and a member of both the Debt and Equity Investment Committees.

Philippe is an accomplished investment professional with experience in infrastructure equity, debt investment management, project and asset finance, structured credit and tax. Philippe’s main activity is as Managing Partner at Oaksley Conseil, based in France, where he provides investment advisory services to institutional investors and asset managers, primarily in the energy and infrastructure sectors.

Prior to joining the firm, Philippe was Co-head of European Infrastructure Investments at First Sentier Investors (formerly known as First State Investments), Managing Director of Amundi Private Equity Funds and Director at Credit Agricole CIB. Philippe holds a Master in Business Administration from EM Lyon and a Master of Science in Mechanical Engineering from Arts et Métiers ParisTech (École Nationale Supérieure d’Arts et Métiers).

Alexandra Vantillard

Alexandra joined the business in 2020 and has 13 years of relevant experience. Alexandra focuses on Equity transactions and asset management. She is part of Vantage Group’s ESG working group. She is a director on the boards of companies relating to Agronergy.

Prior to joining the firm, Alexandra worked at Hermes Infrastructure, ING Bank and BNP Paribas. She holds a Master 1 in Finance from Paris Dauphine University and a Master of Science in Corporate Finance from EM Lyon Business School.

Laura Wood

Senior Associate

Laura joined the business in 2024 and has 5 years of relevant experience. Laura focuses on the execution and asset management of Debt investments.

Prior to joining the firm, Laura worked for the Global Infrastructure and Project Finance team at Fitch Ratings and the Public Sector and Infrastructure group at Goldman Sachs covering US-based public infrastructure transactions, including transportation and utilities. In her most recent position, Laura worked as an Associate at ING Capital focusing on energy project finance. Laura holds an MBA from Yale School of Management and a Bachelor of Arts in Economics and History from Vassar College.
